The U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) is the largest commitment by any nation for an international health initiative dedicated to a single dissease. Through the Emergency Plan, the U.S. Government has committed $15 billion to combat HIV/AIDS around the world. Working with international, national and local leaders, the U.S. Government supports integrated prevention, treatment and care programs. The Emergency Plan supports the multisectoral national responses in host nations through the principles known as the "Three Ones" -- one national plan, one national coordinating authority, and one national monitoring and evaluation system. A complete session desciption will be submitted at a later date.
