Jointly hosted by the Global Fund and the Global Business Coalition, the session will explore the new interventions undertaken by businesses that have contributed significantly to improving access to and scale-up of HIV/AIDS initiatives.

Panelists will discuss some of the following issues: cause-related marketing and advocacy campaigns; private sector involvement in the development and support of national programs; business leadership and collective action in advocating for focused attention on women and girls; and the possibilities for sustainable scale-up of treatment through public-private partnership models such as co-investment.

The session will be moderated by Prof. Michel Kazatchkine, Executive Director of the Global Fund, and Dr. John Tedstrom, Executive Director of the GBC.
