The Swiss Commission on AIDS-related Issues published a communication in the Bulletin of Swiss Medicine in February 2008 under the title "HIV-positive individuals without additional sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and on effective anti-retroviral therapy are sexually non-infectious". Following this communication an intensive international debate is taking place. Some institutions took different positions. A Closed Hearing took place in Geneva on June4th, 2008, putting toghether scientific experts and public authorities in order to find a common scientific understanting on this matter. We now wish to explain our position and to open a public debate on this topic. For any information, pls contact: luciano.ruggia@bag.admin.ch
