Planking is great for building the muscles in your core. There is no equipment necessary for this exercise, except the desire to exercise and a little bit of space. For more comfort, you can do your planks on a carpet or even incorporate a mat or towel. You will need to get into a position as if you are doing a pushup. Hold your body up with straight arms and keep your body level. Start out by holding this position for as long as you can. Each day you do planking, you can add a few more seconds.

  1. Squat Jumps

Squat jumps not only help you to build muscle but are also a great form of aerobic exercise that gets your heart pumping. All you need to do squat jumps is some space in your home. When you come up from the squat, push off the floor and jump straight up into the air. When you land, you should be back in the squat. Do 3 sets of 10-12 squat jumps.

  1. Jumping Jacks

For this exercise, move your arms and legs in sync with each other. The only thing you will need is to have some space to jump around. Start by standing straight with your core engaged.
